| Objective:1.Understand the current situation of adolescent parent-child boundary confusion,emotional expression conflict and self-esteem.2.Analyze the impact of general demographic characteristics on adolescent parent-child boundary confusion,emotional expression conflict and self-esteem.3.To explore the relationship between adolescent parent-child boundary confusion,emotional expression conflict and self-esteem,and the mediating role of emotional expression conflict.Method: Taking 786 high school students from Enping City,Guangdong Province as the research object,the sample survey was conducted using tools such as Parent-child Boundary Table,Parental Scale,Strong Emotional Conflict Scale,and Self-Concept Scale.Data processing and analysis were performed using SPSS 20.0 software.Result: 1.High school students’ parent-child boundaries and emotional expression conflicts are significantly different in gender.Boys’ parent-child boundaries are more confused than girls,and girls’ emotional expression conflicts are higher than boys.2.There is no significant difference in the parentalization,parent-child boundaries,emotional expression conflicts,and self-esteem of the young people.3.The pro-career and emotional expression conflicts of teenagers vary significantly in age.The degree of parentalization of young people aged 15-16 is higher than that of 17-18 years old.The emotional expression of high school students aged 15-16 is higher than that of 17-18 years old.4.The parentalization and self-esteem of the high school students are significantly different in the birth order.The degree of parentalization of the only child is higher than that of the non-only child.The middle-ranking youths are ranked,and the middle-ranking youths with the highest degree of parentalization are ranked.The order of high school students is less self-respecting than the leader.5.The personalization and self-esteem of young people are significantly different in the situation of staying in the country.The degree of parentalization of left-behind youth is higher than that of non-left-behind teenagers.The self-esteem of left-behind teenagers is lower than that of non-left-behind teenagers.6.There is no significant difference in the degree of parentalization,parent-child boundaries,emotional expression conflicts,and self-esteem in the education of the father.7.The parental boundaries and emotional expression conflicts of high school students are significantly different in the degree of education of mothers.The degree of parent-child boundaries of mothers with low education level is higher than that of mothers with high education level.The emotional expression of conflicts among high school students with low education level.High school students who are higher than their mothers’ education.8.High school students’ emotional expression conflict has a significant negative correlation with self-esteem;high school students’ self-esteem has a significant negative correlation with parent-child boundaries;self-esteem has a significant positive correlation with parentalization;parent-child boundaries have a significant positive correlation with emotional expression conflicts;There is a significant positive correlation with emotional expression conflicts.9.Emotional expression conflict has a partial mediation between high school students’ parent-child boundaries and self-esteem;emotional expression conflict has a masking effect between high school students’ parentalization and self-esteem,with a masking value of 0.21.Conclusions: 1.Differences in demographic variables can affect adolescent parent-child boundaries,emotional expression conflicts and self-esteem.2.High school students’ parent-child boundary confusion,emotional expression conflict and self-esteem are significantly related.3.The parent-child boundary can directly affect self-esteem,and can also affect self-esteem through emotional expression conflict;the emotional expression conflict of high school students will weaken the positive prediction of self-esteem. |
