Research On Digital Illustration Based On Woodcut Language

The development of woodcut printmaking has a history of more than a year.As an art form spanned space and time and played a profound and positive role in the cultural transmission all around the world.Up to now,there are still many printmaking artists deeply working in the field of woodcut printmaking,silently working for this kind of art form.With the development of computer intelligence,digital illustration can help us accomplish a lot of amazing things due to its advantages of high freedom,high reproducibility and high ROI.Taking books illustration design as foothold,hope to "the shepherd boy fantasy journey" this book,for example,by using digital illustration of the creation method,and draw lessons from the graphic language of woodcut printmaking,color language "San Wei" and full of wood characteristics,the application of the cultural connotation of woodcut engraving books illustration design.Through theoretical analysis and final design practice,this paper attempts to further extend the vitality of woodcut prints and make innovations in the style of digital illustration.
