| Syntax,semantics and pragmatics are the three dimensions of grammar study.Based on the data collected from a large corpus,this paper investigates the indeterminants "Dian" and "Xie" from three dimensions of grammatical research,and analyzes their collocation form,syntax,semantics,and pragmatics.English belongs to indo-european language family,there is no quantifier,so English background students often make mistakes when they study quantifiers.Through the investigation of the real corpus of the indefinite quantifiers "Dian" and "Xie" used by foreign students in the "HSK dynamic composition corpus",it is found that there are many problems in the use of indefinite quantifiers "Dian" and "Xie" by foreign students with English background.For example,it is not clear to understand the nature of the nouns modified by "Dian" and "Xie",which leads to the improper collocation of Num-Classifier-Noun Phrases.Another example is related grammar forms are prone to problems;For some similar forms are easy to be confused.At present,little research has been done on the Chinese teaching of the non-quantifiers "Dian" and "Xie" for foreign students with English background,it is found that the main reasons for the errors in the use of the indefinite quantifiers "Dian" and "Xie" by foreign students from English background.In view of these errors,the paper also tries to put forward teaching suggestions,and carries out related teaching design in the appendix,hoping to provide some help to the teaching of indefinite quantifiers "Dian" and "Xie" for foreign students with English background. |
