As a painter,literary scholar,and educator,Feng Zikai had a wide range of studies and achievements in his life.His unique view of children runs through his entire children’s literature and is the theoretical support for all his educational ideas,and children become the basis of his literary creation.Therefore,this study will start from Feng Zikai’s view of children,try to examine the theoretical background of Feng Zikai’s children’s literary creation,reveal the core and characteristics of Feng Zikai’s children’s literary thought,analyze the various attempts of Feng Zikai’s children’s literary creation,and finally present the literary historical significance of Feng Zikai’s children’s literary creation.The whole paper is discussed in the following four parts:The first part analyzes the motives of Feng Zikai’s children’s literature creation,and will sort out the author’s motives of children’s literature creation from the aspects of time,family life and education.The second part expounds Feng Zikai’s view of children,including his admiration for children,his insistence on restoring the most realistic children,and his opposition of the world of children to that of adults,and explains the influence of these views on Feng’s children’s literature.The third part examines Feng Zikai’s children’s literature,interpreting the texts of his children’s essays,fairy tales,and juvenile stories from the perspectives of ideological content and artistic form,and exploring the literary and artistic values of Feng Zikai’s children’s literary creations.The fourth part discusses the uniqueness of Feng Zikai’s children’s literary creations,explores Feng Zikai’s enrichment of the connotation of modern Chinese children’s literature,and finally presents the literary-historical significance of Feng Zikai’s children’s literary creations in order to provide resources for rethinking the development of Chinese children’s literature. |
