Feng Zikai is regarded as the “Leader of Chinese Cartoons”.His drawings combine art features both from the east and west.Also,he made inspiring innovation based on traditional Chinese paintings.His works are not only simple and unaffected,but also full of poetic charm.At the same time,his drawings point out current social problems,reflecting his responsibility to the society.This article conducts research on Feng Zikai’s illustration of children’s literature by using literature method,comparative research method,text analysis method and interview method.The first chapter clarifies the author’s object and content,origin and status of research.The research aims to bring a new world to current social beauty appreciation.The second chapter gives a brief introduction to each stage of Feng’s life,when he followed his teacher to start his career,and the origin of making friends.Also,this chapter includes the reason and history of why Feng developed such style of art,and formed his view of life,as well as an answer to his orientation in painting history.The third chapter analyses Feng’s illustration of children’s literature,starting from his composition techniques,containing three skills,namely pictographic skill,symbolic skill and crowning-touch skill,ending with plasticity,simplicity and artistic idea of his drawing techniques.This chapter also includes his narrative pattern of pictures and texts in illustration,from three aspects,including the development of graphic and text communication,the relationship between graphic and text in his children’s literature illustration,the narrative pattern of graphic and text in the illustration.The forth chapter mainly focuses on the inspiration which Feng’s illustration has brought to our current society.First,the author combs the development history of Chinese illustration.Then,the author discusses the inspiration which Feng’s children views has brought to illustration composition.The author analyses the child psychology it contains in detail,and hopes to provide inspiration for illustration composers. |
