This is a thesis of Guanyang dialectal grammar on the marker of continuous aspect.The system of the marker of continuous aspect in Guanyang dialect is different from Mandarin. The marker of continuous aspect in mandarin is"zhe",but there are three corresponding grammatical forms in Guanyang dialect.They are"dao""jin"qi". The paper will analyze the syntactic and semantic features of the marker of continuous aspect in Guanyang dialect by Observation,description and comparation. Apart from the introduction and conclusion,there are four chapters in this thesis.Chapter 1 will describe and analyze the syntactic and semantic features of the marker of continuous aspect"dao",and compare with"zhe"in Mandarin."Dao"mainly appears in General Sentence,Extential,Serial Sentence,Comment Sentence and Imperative Sentence."Dao"have three semantic features: [ -Perfect][+Continuous][±Dynamic]. Comparing with"zhe"in Mandarin,"dao"is corresponding to most usage of"zhe"in Mandarin.But they have same grammatical meaning.Chapter 2 will describe and analyze the syntactic and semantic features of the marker of continuous aspect"jin",and compare with"zhe"in Mandarin."Jin"mainly appears in General Sentence and Extential.It has three semantic features: [Perfect][+Continuous][ - Dynamic]. Comparing with"zhe"in Mandarin,"jin"is equivalent to the part of"zhe"in Mandarin on distribution and grammatical meaning.Chapter 3 will describe and analyze the syntactic and semantic features of the marker of continuous aspect"qi",and compare with"zhe"in Mandarin."Qi"mainly appears in General Sentence and Linked Sentence.It has three semantic features: [-Perfect][+Continuous][ - Dynamic]. Comparing with"zhe"in Mandarin,"qi"is equivalent to the part of"zhe"in Mandarin on distribution and grammatical meaning.Chapter 4 will compare with"dao""jin""qi". In a word,"dao""jin""qi"is opposite and complemental each other,they cannot instead each other.But they are composed of the system of the continuous aspect in Guanyang dialect,and is corresponding to the usage of"zhe"in Mandarin.
