Chinese style piano etudes are an important part of Chinese piano music.It has been more than 70 years of development.The creation of works is deeply rooted in China’s national music culture,and a large number of traditional Chinese music is used in its creation.National elements make Chinese style piano etudes different from Western piano etudes in tone,structure,artistic conception and cultural connotation.As an outstanding composer,pianist and educator in my country,Zhao Xiaosheng has made great contributions to Chinese style piano etudes.His "Concert Etude" is one of the most representative works of Chinese style piano etudes.One.This article expounds the national elements mainly used in Chinese-style piano etudes through melody,musical style,rhythm,timbre techniques,etc.,and then through the study of Zhao Xiaosheng’s "Concert Etude" to illustrate how the national elements are used in actual creation and performance techniques How to embody it,and dig deep into its national charm.This article is divided into six chapters.The introduction of the first chapter explains the purpose,significance,content and current research status at home and abroad.The second chapter explains the meaning of the Chinese-style piano etudes,sorts out the historical development of the Chinese-style piano etudes,and briefly summarizes the history of each period.process status.The third chapter discusses the literary title,the reference of folk music materials,the national characteristic harmony,the nationalized musical structure and the imitation of the timbre technique,etc.,and summarizes the national elements in the Chinese style piano etudes.The fourth chapter analyzes Zhao Xiaosheng’s "Concert Etude" creation techniques,and expounds the application of ethnic elements in actual creation from the times of the title,the use of ethnic melody,and the style of ethnic tunes.The fifth chapter analyzes the performance techniques in "Concert Etude",and expounds the embodiment of the timbre techniques of national instrumental music in piano performance.Chapter 6 expounds the cultural significance of national elements,analyzes the development status of Chinese-style piano etudes,and puts forward the existing problems that need to be improved,hoping to attract more scholars’ attention and promote the development of Chinese-style piano etudes.
