“Tai Chi Composer System” is created by the famous composer and pianist Mr. Zhao Xiaosheng. Mr. Zhao combines the music law with philosophy coming from one of Chinese most ancient and traditional book named “Book of Changes”, and then he produces a modern and marginalization composition techniques which is unique in the history of modern and contemporary composition.Based on the understanding of this composition system,Mr. Zhao composes various types of music tracks including piano, vocal music, folk music and so on.This paper analyze the piano music “Tai Chi” which is based on traditional philosophy from The Book of Changes and modern composition techniques. This paper will expand the exploration of traditional Chinese Yi thought, traditional music law, and the modern piano technique of combining thinking. Also, this paper provides points in terms of the revival of traditional music and the development of sinicization of piano. In addition, through analyzing The Book of Changes’ philosophical thoughts which is reflected by the piano music’s new harmony system occurred with this composition technique, this paper prove the possibility that Chinese traditional music and music thought can be utilized to discover modern piano composing techniques."Tai Chi" has its profound connotation. This paper, on the one hand, analyzes the new compositional techniques which reflect the new sound logical relationship “sound map.” The new composition techniques is made by Mr. Zhao who broke the Western compositional techniques and learned to find the theory of ancient Chinese hexagrams and internal logic, in other words, the interrelationship between yin and yang. On the other hand, this paper introduces the profound significance of Chinese ancient Yi thought, which has theoretical significance for students majored in piano teaching and performance. The theoretical significance lies in the fact that students are able to improve the understanding of this work and the recognition of the relationships between tradition and modern. Considering the status quo of the major and Chinese current environment where advocates the culture revitalization, in the last part, the paper provides perspectives on Chinese current piano education and nationalization of piano.
