Zhao Xiaosheng,a contemporary Chinese composer and pianist,strives to "make the Chinese piano emit a Chinese voice",thereby creating a large number of excellent Chinese works.The piano solo "Fisherman’s Song" is related to Zhao Xiaosheng’s 1973 sea trip.The journey was rough and unforgettable.It not only experienced the maritime work life of people in coastal areas,but also brought strong shock and inspiration to him by the simple singing of fishermen.Therefore,this song was created in 1975,published in Shanghai People’s Publishing House in 1997,and appeared in various piano solo concerts as Zhao Xiaosheng’s regular repertoire.Chinese piano works reflect the self identification of Chinese people with national culture.Combining Chinese piano works with traditional Chinese music culture to conduct research is conducive to Chinese people’s understanding of their own national music,and also conducive to the dissemination and popularization of Chinese piano music.The research content of this article is divided into six parts: The first part is an introduction,which mainly elaborates on the reasons for choosing the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the research content and methods,the research status quo,and the embodiment of innovation.The second part elaborates on the creative background of Zhao Xiaosheng’s piano solo "Fishing Song",the composer Zhao Xiaosheng’s personal experience and creative achievements,paving the way for further exploration in the following article.The third part is the study of the musical ontology of Zhao Xiaosheng’s piano solo "Fishing Song".Through interviews with the composer himself and literature review,the author analyzes the music structure,harmony color,and melody characteristics from three aspects,striving to comprehensively grasp the ontological characteristics of the work.The fourth part is the interpretation of the performance of Zhao Xiaosheng’s piano solo "Fishing Song".Combining detailed analysis of the work and his years of playing experience,based on the analysis of touch and timbre,rhythm and beat,and music paragraph style in the performance level,it provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for performers to artistically grasp the work.The fifth part is the research on the musical and cultural connotation of Zhao Xiaosheng’s piano solo "Fisherman’s Song",focusing on its inheritance of folk music culture and promotion of the glorious labor spirit,in order to explore deeper musical and cultural connotation.The last part is the conclusion,which provides an overall overview and summary of the full text.Through the music research of "Fishing Song",it is hoped that more people will recognize and understand Zhao Xiaosheng and his piano work "Fishing Song",and add a research material for other music learners’ research and performance,while contributing to the inheritance and development of Chinese piano works.
