Collage Drama Texts In The Postmodern Context

Collage,as an artistic concept and an artistic technique,is gradually being applied to theatre,not only expanding its connotation,but also reforming its form.Collage is about space and time,theatre is also an art of time and space.Throughout the history of theatre,collage has appeared in various forms in various genres and styles,linking the history of theatre texts.After the birth of postmodernism theory,the practice of collage seems to enter the postmodern context,and the scope of collage is no longer confined to the traditional ‘text of a play’,but is closely linked to new forms of performance and modes of playwriting.However,even though the rules of textual collage are constantly being rewritten,there are still traces of it.In addition to clarifying the development of theatrical text collage,this article attempts to explore the logic and rule of collage drama text at the textual level,taking the Polish play(A)pollonia as an example.
