In 21 st century,the education informationization has been the focus of the education reform in China.The effective application of Information technology in daily teaching classes accelerates the reformation of the regular class teaching methods and the teaching concept.At the request of the New Curriculum Standard of middle school English,the modern information technology has been continually used in the domestic English teaching in junior middle school.At present,the coverage of the interactive electronic whiteboard used in primary and secondary schools has been over eighty-five percent.Nevertheless,the efficient application of the interactive electronic whiteboard in teaching,which will play a part in the advancement of the primary and secondary school education,is still in the period of exploration and development.There have been numerous researches about the interactive electronic whiteboard applied in teaching and learning now.As a new teaching media,the interactive electronic whiteboard has been mainstream technology for teaching in the field of education.Based on this condition,it is necessary to take the empirical study of the application of interactive electronic whiteboard in practical teaching,in order to further explore the effects of the application of interactive electronic whiteboard in classroom teaching.Whether the application of the interactive electronic whiteboard in junior high school English classroom can improve students’ learning interest,initiative,efficiency and grades is taken by this paper as the research object.The study methods of this thesis are literature research,empirical approach and questionnaire method.And in this research,Lanzhou No.21 Middle School in which the author is teaching has been taken as the experimental school.Fist of all,this paper explains the background,object,significance and content of the research.Secondly,the theories that are related to the interactive electronic whiteboard,pedagogy and modern educational technology are discussed in this paper,which can provide theoretical basis for the following research.Then,the class,the Wh-question review which is based on Easi Note5 and is the part of the first volume(seven grade,PEP edition),is designed as an experimental case and the teaching effect has been analyzed.Finally,the students of the two classes in grade seven which are at the same level,have been taken as the research participants.With the unit 7-unit 9 of the first volume(seven grade,PEP edition)being the teaching contents,the experimental research of a one-month contrast teaching by analyzing tests and questionnaires have been conducted.In the end,the conclusions are as followed:(1)The application of the interactive electronic whiteboard in junior high school English classroom can improve the learning interest of the students;(2)It will inspire the initiative of students if the interactive electronic whiteboard is applied in junior high school English classroom;(3)The application of the interactive electronic whiteboard in junior high school English classroom will improve the learning efficiency of the students;(4)It can improve the students’ scores if the interactive electronic whiteboard is applied in junior high school English classroom.Therefore,it can be concluded that the interactive electronic whiteboard has a positive effect on the English study of middle school students. |
