The folk house is the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancients and the working people.It has a mutually restrictive relationship with mountains and rivers.It exudes its own unique artistic charm in nature.Therefore,folk house architecture is one of the important themes in Chinese landscape painting.Symbols carry the painter’s values and thoughts and emotions.The article uses the author’s creation group painting "Xiao Xiao Zhi Xing" as the breakthrough point,combs and studies the process of the gradual refinement and evolution of the folk house theme landscape painting,and explores the creative ideas and aesthetic conception in it.This article will be discussed in five chapters.The first chapter focuses on the exploration of folk houses as the point-scenario representation of traditional landscape paintings.From the perspective of the social background expressed in the pictures,the folk house schema is divided into two different architectural forms,urban dwellings and rural dwellings,and to realize them.The displayed folk customs and humanistic artistic conception not only provide reference and reference for contemporary residential landscape paintings,but are also an important source of inspiration for artistic conception creation in the creation of group paintings.The second chapter analyzes the residential schemas in modern and contemporary landscape paintings.With the development of society,the residential schemas have gradually changed from a point-of-view form to a main form,and this has been transformed from the perspectives of regional,national,and contemporary artistic characteristics.A painting theme is refined and innovated,and the painting value is explored in order to find one’s own painting language and emotional expression.The third chapter takes the theme of Taihang landscape and folk house creation as the main theme,and summarizes the influence of its geography,environment,culture and other actual factors,highlighting the emotional source and practical significance of the creation of the group painting.The fourth chapter elaborates on the creation process of the group paintings.The overall picture is based on the author’s subjective thoughts,presenting the unique local people in Taihang style from the aspects of conception,layout and construction,pen and ink color language,and artistic conception creation.The fifth chapter starts from the perception and thinking angle of the exploration results of the group painting,and makes a summary of the subject matter and self-creation.
