Exploration Of The Creation Of Landscape Paintings On The Theme Of Xiangxi Folk Houses

China has a vast territory,many ethnic groups,and various forms of residential buildings.The residential buildings in various regions reflect the local historical traditions,living customs,and aesthetic concepts.Xiangxi is a multi-ethnic area dominated by the Tujia and the Miao.The local residential buildings have a long history and strong ethnic customs,and contain rich aesthetics and humanistic values.This article uses Xiangxi folk houses as the theme of landscape painting creation.Through combing and field investigations on the relevant documents and materials of Xiangxi folk houses,we have a and in-depth understanding of the regional culture of Xiangxi houses.On this basis,we use landscape paintings to express Xiangxi folk houses,aiming to express through landscape paintings.The unique spiritual features of the minority residences in the west of Hunan convey the unique beauty of the residences in the west of Hunan.This article is a record of the author’s practice of creating landscape paintings on the theme of Xiangxi folk houses.The article is divided into four chapters:The first chapter mainly clarifies the three aspects of rural affection,the cultural connotation of Xiangxi folk houses,and the expression of the artist’s Xiangxi folk house landscape paintings.The author takes the folk houses in western Hunan as the reason for the creation of the theme of landscape painting;The second chapter tells that author obtained a clear and understanding of the local customs,folk house and architecture in the western Hunan region through on-the-spot investigations in western Hunan;The third chapter is the key chapter of this article,combining theory with practice,expounding the presentation of the landscape paintings of Xiangxi houses,reflecting the author’s thinking on composition,brushwork and artistic conception in the creative practice;The last chapter of the thesis is the author’s reflection and summary of the entire process of creating landscape paintings with the theme of Xiangxi folk houses,reflecting on some of the deficiencies in the picture and proposing improvement measures,in order to accumulate experience and make continuous progress in the summary.
