With the progress of the times,not only people’s material needs have been gradually met,but also the concept of consumption has undergone earth shaking changes.Fashion brands meet the spiritual needs of young consumers to seek new and different,and therefore rise rapidly in a short period of time.Since 2011,the global fashion brand market has exceeded150 billion US dollars in just five years,and is expected to reach 260 billion US dollars in2021 with a compound annual growth rate of more than 11%.The emergence of many national fashion brands also puts forward higher requirements for relevant design.This topic focuses on the background of the integration of Chinese traditional culture and fashion culture,through literature research,case study,questionnaire survey and other methods,analyzes the characteristics and development trend of illustration art and fashion brand.On the one hand,with professional vision,from the perspective of cultural self-confidence,to explore the integration direction of trend culture and Chinese traditional culture,to provide rooted content and form for the relevant design of Guochao brand;on the other hand,from the specific design performance,in the analysis of domestic and foreign excellent trend brand cases at the same time,draw on the relevant theoretical knowledge of illustration design and creation,in order to explore This paper discusses the application of illustration art in product design.The topic selects "Graf" Guochao brand as the main research object,analyzes its brand development trend and brand image design characteristics,and through the brand practice illustration art in Guochao brand design application strategy.In this research,first of all,it combs the development process and status quo of the current domestic and foreign well-known fashion brands,and analyzes the case study results of fashion brands,extracts the key points and principles of fashion brand related design,and then explains the relationship between the external design expression and the internal cultural core of fashion brands.At the same time,this paper investigates the specific ways of applying illustration in the same type of fashion brands as Graf brand,and analyzes its functions,so as to prove the feasibility and advantages of applying illustration art in Graf brand.On this basis,combined with the research on young consumers of Graf brand and the results of user interviews,this paper summarizes the preferences of target consumers for different illustration styles and themes,and finally combs out the design and application strategies and methods of illustration art in Graf brand according to the above conclusions.At the same time,it also provides reference for the illustration design of other fashion brands in the context of global trend brand competition In order to realize the sustainable development of Guochao brand with more innovative and national thinking,this paper provides the development direction for reference.
