Image Research On The Statue Of Kongwang Cliff

Kongwang Mountain is located in the east of Haizhou,Lianyungang City.The cliff statue on the south side of the mountain is an important part of the cultural heritage of the Han Dynasty in Lianyungang City.The study of the statues of Kongwangshan Cliffs is also an exploration of the social and cultural life of Lianyungang at that time.This paper mainly integrates various research methods,including field survey data and archaeological data,to summarize,classify,analyze and interpret the image of Kongwangshan cliff statue.This article includes introduction,the conditions for the creation of the statues of Kongwangshan Cliffs,the analysis of layout creation(artistic expression techniques),image analysis,and artistic concepts.The introduction introduces the research status,methods and significance.The conditions for the production of the statue of Kongwangshan Cliffs mainly discuss the specific objective facts such as the geographical environment and historical background of the statues.In the layout analysis analysis,the composition form and engraving technique of the statue are introduced in detail.According to Wu Hong’s composition method of Xiwangmu,the author makes two classifications,one is idol composition and the other is plot composition.Lianyungang is located in the northern part of Jiangsu,close to Xuzhou and Shandong,therefore,the performance of the statue of Kongwang Mountain is basically the same as that of the Han Dynasty Stone.The carving technique mainly uses bas-relief,Line carving,and high relief,Stone elephant and Stone toad use round carving techniques.Image analysis first classifies all the images,and then analyzes the content of the subject,which will identify the specific characters of some statues.The statue without specific characters belong to religious or secular subjects.After preliminary field investigations and literature investigations,the author believes that the content of the entire statue can be divided into two categories:religious subjects and secular subjects.The artistic concept elaborates on the thought of Buddhism and Taoism about the Kongwang Mountain.Finally,summarize the full text.
