The development of globalization promoted the flow of talented people from all walks of life and shortened the distance between countries.Foreign employees working in Chinese companies have generally received higher education,and they can bring several advanced technology,experience and strength to create higher wealth and value for their companies.Therefore,how to effectively manage foreign employees plays an important role in the companies.Company C is dedicated to promoting the teaching,learning and assessment of English proficiency.It has 5 workplaces in China.According to the company’s needs,Company C hired many foreign employees as English examiners,however,foreign employees often have bad moods at work and complain a lot.Some foreign employees brought their negative feelings about life and the company into work,which heavily affected the quality of work.And some foreign employees with high qualifications often “take advantage of policy loopholes” and fail to fulfill their due responsibilities and obligations,which has negative impact on their colleagues and the development of Company C.The current research took the foreign employees in Company C as research object and instructed by the Hierarchy of Needs theory,Two-factor theory and Equity theory.In the current thesis,the foreign employees’ characteristics are analyzed and the final questionnaire is based on the JDI scale,and coupled with eight dimensions.This research uses a combination of questionnaire surveys and interviews.SPSS is used for analysis to find out the relationship between each factor and the overall satisfaction degree.Then the problems and solutions are given in the end.On the basis of the analysis of the basic situation of job satisfaction,the results show that foreign employees in Company C are relatively satisfied with their working environment,interpersonal relationship,salary and welfare,as well as the overall satisfaction,but it is at medium level in terms of working environment,personal development,company management and cultural integration;the satisfaction degree of the eight influencing factors is divided into three levels,namely,salary/work content> welfare/working environment/interpersonal relationship>cultural integration/personal development/company management;in terms of working environment,the job satisfaction of female foreign employees in Company C is significantly higher than that of male foreign employees;the degree of correlation between the eight factors and the overall satisfaction ranged from the highest level to the lowest level,which were presented as follows: company management>cultural integration>working environment>personal development > interpersonal relationship > welfare >salary.The interview data also confirmed the results of the questionnaire analysis.By summarizing the above analysis results and combining the characteristics of foreign employees with the current market situation,this study summarizes 6problems that led to the foreign employees’ low job satisfaction in Company C,which are described as follows: inefficient communication between the management and foreign employees;the lack of reward and punishment measures;insufficient cultural integration;the lack of personal development;the working environment needs to be improved;high frequency repetitive work.In order to deal with these problems,the current research investigation proposes some corresponding promotion strategies: enhancing the communication between the management and foreign employees;establishing the performance-based salary system;increasing cultural integration activities;help foreign employees to formulate career development plans;standardizing the supporting facilities;enrich work content and rationalize work expectations.The study aims to help company C effectively manage foreign employees,improve its market competitiveness,and achieve a win-win situation between the company and employees.
