A Study On Middle School Education In The Kuomintang Controlled Area Of Shaanxi During The Anti-Japanese War

The Anti-Japanese War period is a very important period in the development history of Shaanxi middle school education.It is the first development climax period in the development history of Shaanxi middle school education.It has an important position in the development history of modern Shaanxi middle school education.During the Anti-Japanese War,Shaanxi middle school education made two important achievements and two great developments.It not only completed the function of cultural education in ordinary middle schools,but also actively promoted the wartime education,inspired the patriotic enthusiasm of middle school students,promoted the awakening of national consciousness of middle school students,and promoted the spread of progressive ideas.Middle school students also became the main force of the patriotic democratic movement,widely participated in the patriotic democratic movement during the Anti Japanese War,and widely participated in the Anti Japanese war propaganda And field service.The revolutionary thought and will of middle school students have been greatly tempered in the war.This paper mainly studies the development of secondary education in Shaanxi during the Anti-Japanese War from a historical perspective.First of all,it gives a brief introduction to the beginning of the development of Shaanxi middle school education in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,and basically makes clear the basic situation of the beginning of Shaanxi middle school education;then it focuses on the background conditions and development overview of the rapid development of Shaanxi middle school education during the Anti Japanese War(including education administration,ideological and political education,education funds,teachers,students,curriculum);what’s more,through the comparison with some data of Shaanxi middle school education development before the Anti-Japanese War and the specific situation of Shaanxi middle school education development during the Anti-Japanese War,this paper analyzes the breakthrough and existing problems of Shaanxi middle school education during the Anti-Japanese war.Finally,the significance and historical contribution of the development are summarized.During the Anti-Japanese War,Shaanxi’s ordinary middle school education and wartime education have achieved good development.It is of great significance for us to have a more comprehensive understanding of the history of Shaanxi’s middle school education to carefully study and summarize the development of secondary school education in Shaanxi during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,as well as the achievements and limitations in the development.
