The Construction Analysis Of Modern Chinese "都XP了" And Teaching Suggestions

"都XP了" is a common construction used in the Chinese daily life and an important language point of the subject teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The structure "都XP 了" includes "都 NP 了","都 VP 了","都 AP 了",these three forms have similarities and differences.At present,many scholars have carried out detailed researches on "都 XP了 ",and the results are fruitful,providing substantial reference materials.Meanwhile,most of the previous research conducted on " 都 XP 了 " also emphasized on the grammatical aspects,lacking study combined with teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Therefore,this research will take approach to systematically describe and interpret the construction " 都 XP 了 " through comparative analysis,questionnaire survey,error analysis,textbook analysis and other methods from construction grammar theory,advancing a proposal on how to teach Chinese as a foreign language.It is expected to improve the teaching effect and help students to master the construction.At first,this thesis analyzes the components "都",XP,and "了" of the construction "都 XP 了",which includes interpreting the meaning emphasis of the adverbs "都" and "了" in the construction of "都 NP/AP/VP 了",as well as the semantic features of XP used as NP/VP/AP,and then analyze the meaning,features,pragmatic features of the whole structure.Furthermore,we also analyze the questionnaire survey of Chinese learners and classify the errors reasonably.The types of errors after classification are sequential error,omission,splitting,mixed use,and avoidance.Thirdly,the research gives a reasonable analysis on the errors showed in the questionnaire,bringing the conclusion that reasons for the errors are negative transfer of mother tongue,over-generalization of target language rules,influence of textbook writing and classroom teaching.Finally,we puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions on textbook writing,teaching and learning aimed at the types of errors and the causes of errors.
