The Calligraphy Study Of Wang Liaowang

Wang Liaowang(1605-1686),the original famous zhu,yuwang,word shengyong,also known as xiufo toutuo,minhai legacy minister.Ming wanli thirty-three years(1605)was born in gansu gongchangwei longxi county zhonglingchi lane(now dingxi city longxi county)people.Wang jiawang was the representative and leader of gansu book circles in the late Ming and early qing dynasties.However,because he lived in longyou for most of his life,the name of the book is not known to the world,plus his works scattered among the people,few remains.Therefore,there are few studies on it,and most of them are one-sided records.In this paper,wang wangs calligraphy style will be further explored by selecting his works of cursive calligraphy and large vertical axis in his late years.
