An Exploration On Chinsese National Dance Drama With The Theme Of Maritime Silk Road " The Dream Of The Silk Sea "

The large-scale national dance drama "The Dream of the Silk Sea" is one of the most representative dance drama on the theme of "Maritime Silk Road" since the 21 st century.Since its inception in 2014,the play has performed in more than 60 shows in many countries and regions around the world,it received widespread attention.The dance drama "The Dream of the Silk Sea" has a profound theme,rich connotations,delicate emotions,and strong ornamental characteristics.It combines Chinese and Western music,distinctive dances,simple stage settings,and the customs and culture of southern Fujian to closely integrate the people of Fujian province.Based on the spirit of hard work and pioneering spirit of the Fujian people and the ethical spirit of family standard,justice and light benefit,presented human values centered on "harmony",the theme of the pursuit of the dream of the Silk Sea has been throughout.The director cleverly used the dance vocabulary and music elements with the cultural characteristics of southern Fujian to fully show the humanistic spirit of Silk Sea in the play.The rich cultural essence provided inexhaustible motivation and inspiration for the artistic creation of dance drama.Based on the macro perspective of dance art culture,this article makes a detailed analysis of the play from three perspectives: creative characteristics,cultural connotation,and artistic value.On the basis of faithful to the original dance drama,This article is divided into three parts to analyze the overall situation of dance dramas.The first part is to sort out the background analysis and the basic status of dance drama’s development in "The Dream of the Silk Sea",and to understand the background and creation of the early stage of the creation.The narrative structure,thematic features,vocabulary style,expression forms,stage scheduling,and music and dance beauty are used to elaborate the creative characteristics of "The Dream of the Silk Sea" in the second part,and to explore the dance language and its creative style in dance dramas.The third part starts from the whole of the dance drama,and explores the deep cultural connotation in "The Dream of the Sea of Silk" by studying the artistic forms presented in the creation of the dance drama from the surface and the inside.The historical significance and status of dance drama in the development history of Chinese dance drama.
