The Creative Techniques Of Yinmingwu’s Symphony "Silk Road Dream(Imagination)"

Yinmingwu is a famous contemporary Chinese composer,professor,and doctoral tutor of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.His works are delicate and hierarchical,with a rigorous structure,focusing on timbre characterization,melody development,and orchestration layout.He has a profound understanding of the shaping of music images and has his own unique musical style.Yinmingwu’s symphony(the last movement in the work of many people’s cooperation),"Silk Road Dream(Imagination)" as his recent works,fully shows that the composer has reached a mature high level.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly analyses the music material(pitch organization)and composing technique of this work.The second chapter analyses several key points of the orchestration of this work from three aspects: timbre creation,timbre application and the overall distribution and layout of the vertical and horizontal parts.The third chapter analyses the musical structure of this work.Through the analysis of the above aspects,it is helpful for us to understand and learn the creative skills and music aesthetics of "Silk Road Dream(Imagination)".
