North Mangshan appeared in poetry from Liang Hong’s "five Eee songs" in the Eastern Han Dynasty.North Mangshan was originally just a tourist destination in the north of Luoyang.In the late Han Dynasty,Wei and Jin dynasties,Mangshan Mountain in the north became the mausoleum gathering area of emperors and generals because of its excellent geomantic omen.The meaning of Northern Mangshan in poetry is gradually extended from the actual geographical meaning to the tomb,and then becomes synonymous with death.After Sui and Tang dynasties,Northern Mangshan gradually solidified in literary works because of its theme of life and death.The main part of the paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter discusses the name identification of North Mangshan,the cultural connotation of Northern Mangshan and the evolution of the meaning of Northern Mangshan in poems before Tang Dynasty.The second chapter gives a detailed description of the creative background and the characteristics of the times in the early,Sheng,Middle and late four different periods of Northern Mangshan Poetry.The third chapter analyzes the ideological content of Northern Mangshan poetry in Tang Dynasty from four aspects: climbing high and looking far away,expressing self-pursuit;nostalgic singing history,feeling the vicissitudes of history;mourning the dead friends,expressing death not to mourn;graves are tired and aware of the philosophy of life and death.The fourth chapter discusses the reasons why Tang Dynasty poets pay attention to and write about Mangshan in the north from three aspects: first,the north Mangshan return to the funeral culture;second,the Tang Dynasty after the Anshi chaos on the life consciousness of the new thinking;third,the Northern Mangshan life and death contained in the literary theme. |
