time and feared the end of life;on the other hand, while burying and sacrificing the dead, they also conveyed infinite curiosity about the afterlife. The story of entering the tomb was born out of this ambivalence, and with the continuous change of people’s concept of ghosts, the story of entering the tomb continued to develop new types and contents. This article will use "Taiping Guangji" and Li Shiren’s "Complete Tang and Five Dynasties Novels" as the main reference documents to classify and study the stories of tombs in the Tang and Five Dynasties,in order to explore the different cultures expressed by different types of tomb stories in the Tang and Five Dynasties.connotation.The first chapter, the introduction, includes three aspects: the definition of the tomb story, the research status and the significance of the topic selection, and the cultural background of the tomb story. This chapter summarizes the research status of tomb novels, ghost novels, and stories about entering the underworld, analyzes the cultural background and literary origin of stories about entering the tomb, and points out that the existing research lacks a clear definition for stories about entering the tomb, and the stories about entering the tomb are the same as those about entering the underworld and traveling to the underworld. It is necessary to make a clear distinction between the stories of the tombs. The combination of the stories of the tombs with the funeral documents of the past dynasties, and the influence of the changes in the funeral system and ideological beliefs on the development of the stories of the tombs need to be deeply studied. Therefore, the stories of the tombs have a large research space. In addition, the new development of tomb-entry stories in the Tang and Five Dynasties period comes from the inheritance of the type, content and ideas of tomb-entry stories in pre-Tang historical materials and novels. The story of the tomb can be regarded as a prelude to the story of entering the tomb in the Tang and Five Dynasties. The second chapter is the story of consciously entering the tomb in the Tang and Five Dynasties. From an ideological point of view, people’s curiosity about the nether world and their struggle against force majeure are the root causes of conscious tomb stories. In such stories, the tombs are often clearly described with words such as "funeral palace","mound","grave" and "tomb".This chapter mainly studies tomb stories from tomb robbery stories, active ghost marriage stories, ancient tomb cultivation stories and human sacrifice stories, analyzes the various factors that prompt people to actively explore tombs, and points out that people have a different understanding of ancient tombs and ghosts. The curiosity of the world is actually a manifestation of the initiative of the ancients to explore the unknown world. The third chapter is the story of unconscious tombs in the Tang and Five Dynasties.Unconsciously entering the tomb is people’s secret yearning for treasures of wealth, beauty and interests, and fear of death and moral judgment. In such stories, tombs often appear in specific three-dimensional living spaces such as "houses","palaces" and "courtyards" that are consistent with the real world,or in two-dimensional spaces such as "doors" and "city gates".,which is more confusing to the protagonist, making it impossible for the protagonist to identify the environment he is in.This chapter studies the stories of tomb entry from three aspects: the lure of ghosts and foxes, the revenge of the underworld trial, and the accidental entry into the tomb, and discusses the social roots of people’s ghost worldview under the understanding of the different dimensions of the tomb, and points out that there are more stories of unconscious entry into the tomb.It is the catharsis of people’s hidden desires. The ghost world in the novel is the true reflection of the real society and people’s inner world;while the process of people’s fear to the ghost world in the story of unconscious tombs is actually a historical view of the literati in the Tang and Five Dynasties. From ignorant construction to mature performance. The fourth chapter discusses the tomb stories in the novels of the Tang and Five Dynasties from the perspective of literary influence and cultural influence. From a literary point of view, most of the tomb-entry stories in the Song and post-Song eras and even contemporary times were developed in accordance with the ideological and cultural characteristics of the times on the basis of inheriting the achievements of the tomb-entry stories of the Tang and Five Dynasties. In the Song and Yuan Dynasties, the stories of entering the tomb were influenced by Neo-Confucianism and superstition, showing the characteristics of introverted desire and superstitious thinking;in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the wave of ideological liberation prompted the stories of entering the tomb to show the openness of eroticism.Up to the present day,the stories of tomb entry are mainly tomb robbery novels, but the plot of the story deliberately reflects the grandeur and horror of the tomb.At the same time, after the Song Dynasty, the story of entering the tomb gradually narrowed its field of vision and pattern, and the image of the "tomb" was weakened, and it gradually became a routine and container for people to vent their emotions and selfish desires. From the perspective of cultural inheritance, the funeral customs represented by ghost marriage and burial have changed from being recognized by the society to becoming deformed funeral customs in the process of development.Among them, people’s continuous recognition and recognition of individual life consciousness, and etiquette and customs The result of the continuous development and maturity of the socio-economic system. To carry forward the excellent traditional culture,it is necessary to make the best of traditional customs in order to adapt to the development of modern social civilization. The conclusion part points out the practical significance of the study of tomb-entry stories from the perspectives of literary influence and cultural influence, and points out that the tomb-entry stories of the Tang and Five Dynasties have the function of linking the past and the future and linking the previous and the next in the development history of the tomb-entry stories.Face up to the ancients’ view of ghosts and death, and reexamine the tomb culture at that time. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Tang five
