A Study On The Acquisition Errors Of The Prepositions "Jingguo" "tongguo" And "touguo" By Intermediate And Advanced International Students

There are a large number of Chinese near-synonyms and their usage is complicated,but they are a necessary way for international students to learn Chinese.Therefore,in order to enable international students to better grasp the semantics and usage of the prepositions "jingguo" "tongguo" and "touguo",the following aspects are analysed in this paper.Firstly,the introductory part of this paper uses Cite Space 5.5.R2 to collate all the literature related to the topic of near-synonym identification on the Internet,and to make a visual analysis of the hotspots and trends of near-synonym research in the past forty years and to sort out the key literature in order to present the research content and characteristics of each literature more clearly.Secondly,ontology and bias studies are conducted on "jingguo" "tongguo" and "touguo" respectively.For the ontological study,different versions of the tools and ontological corpus are selected,and then carefully considered in the light of the experience of various authors,and compared and analysed in terms of semantics and grammar.By examining the National Language Commission’s Modern Chinese Balanced Corpus,we find that "jingguo" "tongguo" and "touguo" are all used as both verbs and prepositions,but with different semantic focuses,and that The prepositional use of "touguo" is mainly found in Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,but not commonly in mainland.Therefore,in the process of analysis,the corpus from the Livac Basic online and the Modern Chinese Balanced Corpus of the Academia Sinica were selected accordingly,in order to obtain more comprehensive and specific discriminatory results from the different corpora.For the study of biases,all the biased corpora in this paper are drawn from the Global Chinese Mediated Corpus.The analysis reveals that the words "jingguo" "tongguo" and "touguo" are not only mixed with each other,but also easily used in other words such as "jingli" and "guo" and so on.In addition,a test paper was designed to examine the bias of international students at the intermediate and advanced levels of Chinese in our school.Finally,through the analysis of the biased corpus and the answers of the test papers of international students,this paper concludes that there are indeed biases in the use of "jingguo" "tongguo" and "touguo" by international students at middle and senior levels.The reasons can be divided into three categories: the difficulty of Chinese knowledge and the personal reasons of international students,teachers’ teaching problems and textbook layout problems.In this way,we put forward some reasonable suggestions for teaching and learning in order to contribute to the future teaching of proxemics in Chinese as a foreign language.
