Since the 1970 s,capitalism has developed rapidly,and international socialism movement has entered a long period of low tide.The Soviet model has gradually faded out of people’s vision,and the theory and practice of market socialism have become the main form of contemporary socialism.Dialectics has always been the focus of Western Marxist philosophy,but when it comes to Analytical Marxism,there is a deviation from Marxist dialectics.In order to "return to Marx" and respond to and defend the scientific nature of Marx’s dialectics,Bertell Ollman,the representative of Marxism in dialectics recognized by British and American academic circles,inherited the tradition of Western Marxist dialectics,absorbed Marx’s own dialectics thought,accepted Engels’ understanding of dialectics in many places,and formed his own dialectical thought based on the philosophy of internal relation and with abstract method as an important part.He put the philosophy of internal relations inherited from Hegel and dialectics into Marx’s dialectics reconstruction.He systematically discussed the relationship between philosophy of internal relations and dialectics,and reinterpreted Marx’s method of seeing problems,research methods and narrative methods,focusing on abstract methods,and revealed Marx’s reverse historical research methods.In the process of interpreting Marx’s dialectics,he understood Marx’s language as Hegelian language,revealed the complexity of Marx’s language use with "Language like bats",and successfully defined the scope of Marx’s language and its conceptual tautology with dialectics.Ollman also saw the application of Marx’s Dialectics in the concept of human nature and the theory of alienation.He reordered Marx’s alienation theory from the perspective of human being as a class,with the tool of the dialectics of internal relations,and abstracted the new form of alienation,the alienated capitalist.Ollman’s innovative reconstruction of Marx’s dialectics based on the philosophy of internal relations strengthens Marx’s category of relations,which is of great theoretical significance for “Return to Marx” and reinterpreting and developing Marx’s philosophy.Ollman’s abstract method is of positive significance in analyzing and criticizing the capitalist market economy,demonstrating the inevitability of socialism and emphasizing the role of dialectics in Marxist education.At the same time,the philosophy of internal relations and the abstract approach,the two pillars he reinterprets Marx’s dialectics have their limitations,He also has the problems of breaking away from Marx’s emphasis on the production system and returning to the system tradition that Hegel needs,He also has no substantive breakthrough in the innovation of Marx’s alienation theory and lacks Marx’s moral and ethical dimension.
