A Comparative Study On The Compilation Of Allusion Words In Modern Chinese Dictionary And Modern Chinese Standard Dictionary

This paper takes the allusion words included in the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition)and Modern Chinese Standard Dictionary(3rd Edition)as the research object,using quantitative statistical methods,comparative analysis methods,corpus verification methods and other methods to compare the two The allusions in this dictionary are described,compared and analyzed,and the differences in the entry,interpretation,and matching examples of the two dictionaries are explored.The full text is mainly divided into five parts.The first part of the introduction introduces the background and significance of the topic,expounds the research status of allusions,and expounds the research content,method and innovation of this paper.The second part is a comparative study on the collection of allusions.Based on the statistics of 338 allusions in “Xian Han”,284 allusions in “Gui Fan” and 278 allusions in two dictionaries,this paper first makes a general analysis on the number of syllables and meanings of allusions;Then it analyzes the allusion words collected by the two dictionaries.The differences in the entries of the two dictionaries are mainly divided into three categories.Each category is examined in detail according to the word frequency of the corpus,and corresponding suggestions are put forward.The third part is a comparative study on the interpretation of allused words,starting from three aspects: the number of meaning items,the content of the interpretation,and the etymology labeling.The comparison of the number of meaning items mainly summarizes the reasons for the quantitative differences;the comparison of the interpretation content mainly explains the differences in the interpretation,part of speech,and style of the two dictionaries,and proposes amendments to the words whose part of speech is not accurate enough;In terms of etymological labeling comparison,the two dictionaries are mainly used to annotate the source of words,what are the differences,to classify the words without annotated origin,to explore the reasons why the dictionary is not annotated,to propose compilation suggestions.The fourth part compares the cases of the same collection of allusion words,and makes a comparative analysis on the number of the matching cases of the two dictionaries,and puts forward some suggestions on the specific differences and problems.The fifth part concludes the main contents of the article.
