| The event of Holly in the Six Mausoleums was a spontaneous burial movement which was organized by the adherents of Song Dynasty to collect the dead bodys of emperor’s families,because of the theft of the former emperor’s mausoleum.During dynasties alternation from Song to Yuan,many literary fields,from historical events to literature,have been involved in this matter,including literary sketches,novels,legendary dramas and poetry since the Yuan Dynasty.Therefore,this paper is based on the original literatures,exploring the literary works related to the Holly in the Six Mausoleums event from the two dimensions of narrative and lyrical.The first part is focuses on exploring the historical motive,specific performance and particularity of the event of Yang Lianzhenjia digging out six Mausoleums.Investigating the phenomenon about the mausoleum-stolen events in history,the reasons are nothing more than robing treasure,political revenge and destruction of Fengshui.However,in the special historical context of the Song and Yuan dynasties,besides the general reasons mentioned above,his motivation was mixed with many political factors.This paper intends to explore its particularity under the special background of Northern nomadic dominating China by comparing the three dynasties of Jin,Yuan and Qing.The second part is to clarify the historical context of the text generation,transmission and development about the Holly in the Six Mausoleums event.First of all,the Yuan Dynasty is the formative period of the narrative of the Holly in Mausoleums,so it is necessary to make a chapter to discuss it,which focuses on the comparative analysis of several early narrative texts formed at the end of the Yuan Dynasty.Secondly,the Ming and Qing Dynasties witnessed the development and evolution of the Holly in Six Mausoleums narrative.Due to the obvious conflicts in the early narrative texts,the textual research on this matter in the Ming and Qing Dynasties was flourishing,which not only promoted the development of the narrate about the Holly in the Six Mausoleums,but also promoted its acceptance by the formal historical narrative.After the middle and late Ming Dynasty,with the vigorous development of popular literary such as novels and legendary historical dramas,the reconstruction of the Holly in six Mausoleums reaching its peak period,during which the narrative of the event had a new development.The third part is focuses on the creation and criticism of the poetries about “the Holly in Six Mausoleums”.It was found that the related poetry creation achieve its peak in Ming and Qing Dynasties.In Ming Dynasty,the poems of the Holly in six Mausoleums were mainly composed about the events itself and centered on the three themes like the lost skull of Li Zong in the early Ming dynasty,the burial of the mausoleums’ bones,and the eulogizing of Holly-righteous-men.The chant of "Holly" was more common in the Qing dynasty.In the field of literary criticism,it is focus on the role played by the event of "Holly in Six Mausoleums" in the criticism of the poetry of Yue Fu Bu Ti and the criticism or discussion of the poetry of Holly by Tang and Lin. |
