The Study Of Bronze Kettle In The Spring And Autumn Period

Bronze kettle is one of the important bronze ritual vessels in the pre-Qin period,and it is an important part of the bronze ritual vessel combination.It first appeared in the early Shang Dynasty and prevailed in the Western Zhou Dynasty.There was obvious development and changes in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty,and it was completely extinct at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty.As an important part of the study of bronze culture,it runs through the entire period when bronze ritual vessels are popular.This article takes the bronze pots in the Spring and Autumn Period as the research object to broaden the research field of bronze culture,which is of great significance for discussing the etiquette system and social life in the Spring and Autumn Period.Based on the research of previous scholars,this article focuses on archaeological excavations and collects the handed down copper kettles.Using statistics,archaeological typology and cultural factor analysis methods,the typology,stage and dating,regional characteristics,and utensil combination of bronze pots are discussed respectively.This article mainly divides bronze pots into square pots and round pots for exploration.The first part is about the typological analysis of the copper kettle.First,use the method of archaeological typology to classify the types of copper pots.Dividing copper pots into square pots and round pots clarifies the characteristics of copper pots in different periods and reveals the law of development and evolution of copper pots.The second part is about the periodization and regional research of copper kettles.Focusing on the evolvement of the artifact itself,combining the land and the artifacts,the research is carried out in stages.Then use the cultural factor analysis method to conduct a comparative study on the copper pots unearthed in various regions,divide the cultural system,and explore the interrelationships of different regional cultures.The third part is about the composition of the bronze pot.This article uses scientifically excavated tombs with complete bronze ritual assembly as the research material,with the period as the main line,discusses the relationship between the combination of bronze pots in the tombs,and clarifies the status and function changes of bronze pots in the ritual assembly.
