| Shanxi Nuo dance "Shouyang Aishe",also called "playing ghosts" by local people,is an ancient and rare folk dance.It mainly reflects the important information of exorcise dance and exorcise dance sacrifice in ancient times,which was produced by human beings in the initial hunting era.It is said to have originated from the middle part of the Yellow River valley in ancient times,and now spread in Shouyang County,Shanxi Province.It retains the primitive dance style.Shanxi Nuo Dance "Shouyang Aishe" mainly tells the story of the battle between Huangdi tribe and Chiyou tribe.Huangdi tribe made soldiers dress up as ghosts to confuse each other,and won the final victory mainly by ingenuity.In memory of the soldiers’ brave protection of the country,the folk call it "Aishe".Shanxi Nuo Dance "Shouyang Aishe" belongs to a non-class society organization,which is a group performance activity with unique costumes.The performers are all villagers in this village.The main content shows a legend of Xuanyuan’s war against Chiyou in ancient times.The soldiers of Xuanyuan Huangdi pretended to be the heads of twenty-four families fooling around into the gate of hell and captured Chiyou City.During the performance,there were 24 people,6 great ghost wore grimace masks to perform mainly,18 imps stood on both sides of the city to help out,and the performance procedures were divided into martial arts(basic movements,preparation before the performance),throwing up the wall(arranging against each other),straight wall(formation changed into snake molting),small field(siege failed,re-arranged),passing through customs(taking off boots,winning the flag across the city),and playing table(siege victory).It is mainly used to celebrate the birthday,sacrifice and pray for rain for Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan.According to the Records of Shouyang County,every year in July of the lunar calendar,"Aishe" and the three major communities in the neighboring village will perform sacrificial ceremonies at Xuanyuan Temple in Beishen Mountain near Hanquan Mountain in this county,which is said to celebrate the birthday of Yellow Emperor Xuanyuan.The "Aishe" is the only social fire allowed to perform in Xuanyuan Temple,and the festivals of the other three major societies can only be performed outside the temple.This study is mainly based on the activity of "Shouyang Aishe" in Shanxi Nuo Dance.Through the historical evolution of totem worship,offering sacrifices to gods and entertaining people,praying for disaster relief,live transmission,utensil culture,performance ceremony and other elements,it investigates its inheritance and evolution,organizational form,field utensils,performance procedures,discusses the interactive relationship between its ritual form and body movements,and records and displays this scene of ritual,body and performance It can be regarded as a kind of origin,deduction and evolution of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation,which has special significance for exploring and carrying forward the culture of Shanxi and even the Central Plains. |
