On The Diversified Development Of Body Language In Contemporary Ethnic And Folk Dance

By means of taking human bodies as carriers and body language as medium of communication,dance makes "sound" and conveys the feelings and thoughts of the objective world and spiritual world.Ethnic and folk dance is an extension of the traditional national culture of living art,showing the spirit of the Chinese nation.Dance performers convey the national spirit and aesthetic ideal through exaggerated and distorted body language of folk dance.Based on the perspective of dance body language,this essay analyzes and studies the diversified development of contemporary ethnic and folk dance body language from the reference of contemporary folk dance performance and body linguistics.This paper consists of three parts.Firstly,it summarizes and analyzes the aesthetic characteristics of body language in folk dance.Secondly,combined with the performance practice of folk dance for individual degree,the diversified development status of body language in folk dance is empirically analyzed and induced from three aspects: semantic,linguistic form and pragmatics;Finally,from the performers’ points of view,this paper presents the spiritual connotation of the national folk dance works,with the diversified development of body language in an all-round and multi-level way through three aspects,namely,the multi-faceted shaping of the image,the diverse expressions of form,and the multi-level transmission of form and meaning.
