A Study On The Use Of Hainan Li Totem Modeling In Dance Creation

This paper tries to take the creation of Li dance works as the starting point,and starts from the totem of the Li dialect area as an element to study the practical use of totem shape in choreography in the process of dance creation.This paper is an attempt to enrich the dance vocabulary of the Li ethnic minority,so that the culture of the Li ethnic minority can be better inherited and continued.In the first part,the paper systematically introduces the concept and culture of Li totems,discusses the positive influence of totem culture and the significance of totems in the ethnic culture;then explains in detail the development history and types of totem culture,and focuses on the historical origin of Sai dialect totems and the symbolic meaning behind several representative totems.In the second part,the possibilities of danceable Li Sai dialect totems are studied in depth by means of induction and anthropomorphic dynamics.In the third part,we try to apply the Sai dialect totem in the creation of dance,taking the theme conception,the use of elements,and the dance movement as the starting point,and launch an example argument.The fourth part summarizes the experience gained in the process of applying the Sai dialect totem to dance creation.
