A Study Of Dadu Poetry In Yuan Dynasty

Dadu was one of the capitals in Yuan Dynasty.There are more than 500 poems related to most of them,involving more than 70 writers.In this paper,these poems are taken as the research objects,and we try our best to gain various understandings.This paper is divided into seven parts.In the introduction part,the significance,research status and research methods of the topic selection are expounded.The first chapter explores the general situation of Dadu poetry creation in Yuan Dynasty.Among them,the creation of descendants of the meritorious officials of Semu and scholars of Kublai Khan’s hidden residence includes the writing of Jiangnan scholars who went north with Cheng Jufu,the contribution of scholars who took part in the imperial examinations,and the participation of scholars who went to Jingyan and visited the imperial capital.The second chapter discusses the unique charm of Dadu poems in Yuan Dynasty.The description of Dadu’s natural geography,palaces and temples,and the presentation of sacrificial system and Dadu’s life in Yuan Dynasty together outline a picture of Dadu with multiculturalism.The third chapter discusses the communication between literati and the creation of Dadu poetry in Yuan Dynasty.This chapter focuses on the selection of the representative poetry gathering in the Yuan Dynasty,namely,the banquet in Lianyuan,the Tianqing Temple Conference,the elegant gathering in the Xuetang,and the literati Changhe at Guange.Through the analysis of specific literati’s communication in Dadu and their creation,we can see the harmonious relationship between literati in Dadu.The fourth chapter analyzes the mentality of the creators of Dadu poems in Yuan Dynasty.On the one hand,literati in Yuan Dynasty are eager to enter official career because of their expectation of personal ideal.On the other hand,the difficulty of living in Beijing and the difficulty of being an official caused the literati in Yuan Dynasty to have a depressed mentality.The fifth chapter summarizes the creative style of Dadu poems in Yuan Dynasty.Most poems in Yuan Dynasty have various styles,which are bold and straightforward,tactful and implicit,elegant and natural,and popular and plain.The conclusion part summarizes the full text and points out the significance of studying Dadu poetry in Yuan Dynasty.
