Analysis Of The Musical Features And Performance Techniques Of Prokofiev’s First Sonata For The Piano (op.1)

Prokofiev,one of the most outstanding musicians in the last century,created many excellent works during his life.Being the first piano sonata work of Prokofiev,Op.1 is worth researching and playing.The creation background,music features,and performance techniques of Piano Sonata No.1(Op.1)were analyzed,which helps the performer to deeply understand and grasp other piano works of Prokofiev.This paper has four chapters.In the first chapter,the creation background was introduced.The development process of piano music in the 20th century was mainly described.The composer and the work were briefly introduced.In the second chapter,we analyzed the music characteristics of the first piano sonata(Op.1)based on the creation,inheritance,and innovation characteristics.The third chapter mainly discussed the performance techniques of Op.1 from the points of speed and strength change,complex rhythm interpretation,and lyric segment interpretation.The fourth chapter was some experience and enlightenment gained by the author after practicing this work.
