| Based on the BCC corpus and CCL corpus, also combines the theory of concept integration, this research systematically combs the parts of speech of "X" and "Ji" in "X-Ji",discusses the cognitive mechanism of "X-Ji" in the stage of compound word-formation and derivative word-formation,and further systematically combs the appearance of "Ji" when "X-Ji" is followed by nominal elements, and obtains the preliminary law of the appearance and concealment of "Ji".Specifically, there are the following points.First, the quantifiers, nouns, adjectives and verbs usually come into "X".Second,at present,"Ji" has been reduced to quasi-affixes,but not yet to real affixes;Third,in the stage of compound word-formation,the semantic characteristics of "X" in "X Ji" are consistent with the semantic characteristics of "Ji" in "Ji" itself, which is self-sufficient;in the stage of derivative wordformation. There is no conceptual semantic relationship between "X" and "Ji",and they adopt the way of blending word formation in integration, which can be subdivided into two cognitive mechanisms: "construction suppression +metaphor" and "construction suppression + metonymy".In the end, when "X" is followed by the nominal component, the appearance of "Ji" is related to the part of speech of "X" and the semantic characteristics of the nominal component after "X".Specifically, there are six types of situations where "Ji" can be hidden:(1)when "X" is a "numeral +many",and the nominal component after "X" is an objective and concrete object with [+ level] characteristics;(2)when "X" constitutes a "numeral +quantifier + level + nominal component";(3)When "X" denotes the category of trend change, the category of status in a certain field, polysyllable alphabetic word, noun component,or when "X" denotes the category of address noun, the word followed by "Ji" has [+high animate] [+specific identity information];(4)when "X" is an adjective of "high" or "low" and is collocated with a word containing [+degree] characteristics such as "alert" and "level";(5)when "X" is a disyllabic adjective;(6)When "X" is a verb that does not form a predicateobject relationship with "Ji",and "Ji" is followed by a [-animate] noun. |
