| Liu Xihai was one of the well-known epigraphers during the Jiaqing and Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty.He was an official for half his life.He did not release the scrolls.He used to study and talk about gold and stone for his pleasure.In the same period,he was a great master in the world of epigraphy.The background of the times,family background and friendships contributed to Liu Xihai’s epigraphy achievements,and his epigraphy achievements were of great value to the Qing Dynasty epigraphy research.This thesis summarizes the background of Liu Xihai’s epigraphy achievements,combs his epigraphy research fields and scholarly methods,and summarizes his epigraphy value and influence.The thesis takes Liu Xihai and his related research results of epigraphy as the research object.It is divided into three chapters to analyze and study Liu Xihai and its epigraphy.The content includes Liu Xihai’s time background,family background,academic background,and Liu Xihai’s epigraphy research field and research.Methods and other aspects.Regarding the question of "the background of the achievement of Liu Xihai’s engraving and stone studies",we mainly adopted the methods of mutual verification of literature and history,knowledge of people and the world,literature textual research and theoretical research,based on "Manuscripts of Qing History","Biography of Qing History","(Qianlong)Zhucheng County Chronicles"."(Daoguang)Zhucheng County Continued Records","(Guangxu)Supplemented Zhucheng County Continued Records",“Changting County Records”,“Mr.Qu Mufu’s Custom Chronicles”,“Bao Su Shi Jinshi Calligraphy and Painting Chronicles”,“Shou Zang Fu Jun Chronicles of the Years of Gongshi” and other historical documents are the main reference materials,starting from the collection of Liu Xihai’s family members’ poems and essays and the relevant information about Liu Xihai’s family deeds and biographies recorded in local county chronicles,to explore the background of Liu Xihai’s time and the Liu family in Zhucheng,Shandong,and understand him Family background,analysis of Liu Xihai’s personality and the formation of his ideals in life.Liu Xihai has been an official for half his life.He traveled many places and made friends all over the country.He not only had close contacts with Ruan Yuan,Jin Xichang,Qu Zhongrong and other Jinshi predecessors,but also with Liu Shilu,Fang Lvjian,Dai Xi,Fei Danxu,Hong Zhanyong,Gu Yuan,Li Shangdi,Da Shou,Chen Zhen,and Zhang Kaifu have established a deep relationship,and they are also paid to sing and sing with the rising stars of the epigraphy at the time,such as Li Zuoxian,Wu Shifen,Bao Kang,and Chen Jieqi.Based on this,the author divides his friends into three parts: mentor,acquaintance,and post-student.Through various collections and chronologies of contemporary friends,as well as analysis of Liu Xihai’s specific works,he examines the characteristics of Liu Xihai’s social activities.And influence,sum up the academic background of Liu Xihai’s epigraph achievement.It is clear that Liu Xihai’s epigraphy achievements are influenced by the times,family,and contacts.Regarding the question of "the research field and research methods of Liu Xihai’s epigraphy",the methods of induction and text analysis are adopted.As a well-known master of epigraphy at the time,Liu Xihai covered a wide range of epigraphy research fields,and there were numerous books on epigraphy.His epigraphy research is specifically divided into five areas: Jijin,stone carvings,ancient springs,sealing mud and statues.The specific interviews,Xunzang,writings and textual research materials in different research fields are sorted and analyzed,and Liu Xihai’s "field exploration,carefully collected" "Pay attention to classification,systematic research","examine and explain text,edit history to fill in the gaps" scholarship methods.According to the summary of the above two issues,Liu Xihai’s research on epigraphy is helpful for the inheritance of Jinshi literature,expands the themes of Qing Dynasty poetry and prose,and has a limited view of the development of writing. |
