Research On The Critical Texts Of Gesar Since The New Century

Since the new century,the study of Gesar has entered a new context stage,and the epic has highlighted the characteristics of the times and nationalities.With the transformation of academic concepts and academic cognition,the renewal of academic methods and research concepts,research on Gesar has taken on a new look.The thesis mainly focuses on the critical texts of Gesar since the new century,including literary criticism,art criticism,national criticism,historical criticism,religious criticism,cross-border and comparative criticism,protection and inheritance criticism.The purpose of this dissertation is to sort out the specific research results of Gesar in the twenty years since the new century,and summarize the development trend of the epic in this period.Since the new century,the literary criticism text of Gesar has been mainly manifested in three aspects: literariness,textualization and oral characteristics,from the perspective of the traditional literary elements of the epic,the textual form and textualization process of the epic,and the uniqueness of epics.In terms of academic methods,there are not only following the tradition of epic research,exploring the artistic fascination of Gesar as literary and artistic work,but also consciously combining Chinese and foreign theories to construct epic text theory and update the epic cognition.The art criticism text of Gesar is mostly music,painting and drama.The research on Gesar music returns to the auditory origin of the epic.The art of painting criticism text and the exploration of epic art resources have maintained the same pace,and they also pay attention to the new landscape of the times.Research on Gesar drama has deeply studied the aesthetic characteristics of its performance form with Tibetan opera as the core.The criticism text of the national,history and religion research on Gesar explores the cultural value of Gesar from the national construction of culture,the continuous consideration of the historical authenticity of the epic,and the religious cultural significance and the worship of Gesar.With the help of other Tibetan and Chinese literature or sites,the research focuses more on empirical research.The cross-border and comparative criticism text of Gesar brings new research methods and new perspectives to the epic research with a leap-forward mode of thinking.It explores the cultural value of epic from the perspective of cultural criticism in a broad sense,and studies the epic works in different cultures from an international perspective and a trans-national and trans-linguistic way of thinking,breaking the current situation of Gesar research being confined to one corner.The protection and innovative research and the cultural transmission and cultural inheritance research are related to the vitality of epics,which is the latest trend of epic research in the twenty years of the new century,and also the development trend of epic research in the future.
