In recent years, rapid pace of globalization catalyzes the frequent use of simultaneous interpreting. And relevant theories about interpretation also sprung up.Verschueren’s Adaptation Theory,as one of these theories, provides a new perspective of simultaneous interpretation’s research. The theory consists of contextual, structural, dynamic adaptation and salience of consciousness in adaptation.Based on Adaptation Theory, the author tries to explore interpreting methods in the process of E-C simultaneous interpretation, hoping these methods can be used for reference in the future.Huawei Connect 2019 has been held in Shanghai for three days.A host of entrepreneurs and scholars from all walks of life were invited to take a discussion in the field of economy and technology.Amid as economic globalization and technological information, there is a close relationship between economy and technology.Based on such a situation, the report takes two keynotes of the conference as materials of E-C simulated simultaneous interpreting(short for SI).As for these two keynotes, the first one was brought by chief executive of Linux Foundation,Jim Zemlin, who mentions the implications of open source in field of computation diversity and heterogeneity. And another one is from Danil Kerimi, deputy head from Center for the 4thIndustrial Revolution in World Economic Forum. He mainly talks about how ICT(Information and Communication Technology)influences sustainable digital economy. With the examples of these two keynotes, the practice of Simulated E-C SI helps the author explore methods of E-C SI in the view of Adaptation Theory. In the meanwhile, this report can also provide some reference for simultaneous interpreting in similar conferences.
