For students,who are about to graduate,the completion of graduation thesis is the last step to obtain their degrees,and it is also the most important one.Due to the particularity,foreign students face more difficulties than local students in writting their graduation thesises.While the graduation thesises written by foreign students are worth detailed research.Through literature review,it is found that there is few research on the graduation thesis writing by foreign undergraduates majoring in Chinese Language and Literature.This article can provide new ideas and directions for research in this area on some levels.This thesis takes the thesises of the foreign undergraduates majoring in Chinese Language and Literature of Lanzhou University as the research object.First,the text analysis of the 2016-2020 international students’ thesises is carried out,which includes the analysis of the topic selection,content characteristics and methodology;secondly,this article also conducts in-depth analysis of the writing status of foreign undergraduates majoring in Chinese Language and Literature,and takes the first draft of the 2021 international students’ thesises,as the research object.The writer tracked the thesises writing process of this year’s international students,and analysed the introduction part and the main body part of the first draft of theie thesises.The main body part is analyzed and sorted out,systematically expounded in terms of vocabulary,sentence,punctuation,and writing logic,and a simple comparison of the characteristics of the final and first drafts of the international students’ thesises are made.Thirdly,the questionnaires and interviews are used to examine the factors that influence the writing of thesises.The conclusion is that the Chinese proficiency of international students is the most important factor affecting their essay writing.Finally,based on the survey results,the writer has some thoughts on how to improve the writing level of academic thesises of foreign students in Chinese Language and Literature major.This article reflects,to a certain extent,that the cultivation situation of foreign students majoring in Chinese Language and Literature at Lanzhou University.I hope that the conclusions of this thesis can provide some advice for the cultivation of foreign students majoring in Chinese Language and Literature major at Lanzhou University. |
