A Study On The Meaning And Usage Of Visual Action Verbs In Modern Chinese

In second language learning,it is very necessary to master a certain number of vocabulary and use easily confused words accurately.In modern Chinese,"seeing class" visual action verb refers to a class of words that emphasize the result of visual action,and has the meaning of "seeing" and "meeting".Based on Wu Wenjie’s classification of modern Chinese visual action verbs,this paper makes a research on some words which are easy to confuse Chinese learners as second language in the 29 visual action verbs of "seeing class".This paper adopts the contrastive research method.Through comparison,we can find out the commonality and individuality of language and distinguish some similar language phenomena in language.The first chapter introduces the reason,research status,research significance,research methods,source of corpus and chapter arrangement of this paper.The second chapter first analyzes the semantic features of29 words,then the semantic features of the confusable words are analyzed from the perspective of semantic meaning and English co-translation words.From the perspective of word meaning difference,it can be divided into 7 groups.From the perspective of English cotranslation word,it can be divided into 8 groups.The third chapter is divided into the easily confused "seeing class" visual action verbs.From their use in the "Ba" sentence and the "Bei" sentence,whether it can be modified by negative words such as "Bu,Mei/Meiyou" and the collocation with dynamic auxiliary words such as "Zhe","Le" and "Guo",etc.And its usage is analyzed in combination with their usage in the literature corpus of BCC corpus.The conclusion part makes a comprehensive summary of the usage analysis content of the words studied in this paper.From the analysis of the research,in use,some phrases can be added with other components.For example,"Kanjian","Qiaojian" and "Choujian" can be inserted in the middle of other components,insert "De/Bu" to indicate the result of action.The words in the group of "Jianzheng","Mudu","Muji" and "Mujian" are characterized by nominalization.Generally,"Jianzheng","Mudu" and "Muji" can be formed by adding the suffix "Ren" or "Zhe" after it.The usage of each group of words is restricted by some conditions.For example,the words "Jianmian" and "Moumian" are not allowed to enter the "Ba" sentence and the "Bei" sentence.And the word "Moumian" is generally not modified by "Mei",but it can be used with words such as "Congwei,Weiceng",which negates the past meaning.
