With the retreat of local space,local literature and local land gradually withdraw from the vision of modern people,and the spiritual demand of modern people is more and more eager for the pure homeland in memory.The long-term vitality of local spiritual writing is also shown."Hometown" carries the spiritual core of the locality,and the nostalgia complex of the memory of "Hometown" continues the vitality of contemporary local literature.The geographical space of "hometown" carries regional culture and emotional value,which enables it to be disseminated more effectively and popularized through imaging and new media.At the same time,as a hot research topic in recent years,literary geography is placed in the image narrative of "hometown",which can observe the new trend of literary geography in the image presentation and the communication of new environment.Documentary video narrative mode fit the local literature film and television dissemination.The documentary "The Hometown of Literature" is a novel attempt of geographical imaging of rural literature.The film is based on the "Hometown" of local writers from six cultural regions in China.Artistic reproduction of "hometown" humanistic style,famous mountains and rivers,local conditions and folk conditions and other rich cultural connotations of the geographical space,as well as regionally related literary traditions,spiritual temperament,language."Relics" of hometown,"scenery" of geography and "characters" of writers meet,reminisce and merge with each other,to externalize the inner life of writers by visualizing geography,and to outline the beauty of humanization of literary geography films.The Hometown of Literature,as a precious contemporary documentary of local literature,focuses on the creation of writers and tells the artistic sources behind those literary works from the perspective of individual writers.Through the elite documentary discourse with theme color,The Hometown of Literature conveys profound historical value with cultural images from a broader cultural perspective.The film opens a new channel for the development of literature communication in the artistic transcoding from the realistic geographical space of literary expression to the aesthetic space of images.At the same time,the film digs deep into the spiritual connotation of "hometown",and awakens the audience to the throbbing of literature and the spiritual conversion buried by "modern diseases" with the charm of light and shadow art and writers.This paper takes "The Hometown of Literature" as the research object,through the narrative of video text,the interpretation of local symbols,and the reconstruction of memory connected to the current reality,and from the perspective of regional culture,discusses how the documentary media constructs the memory of contemporary "hometown" in imagination.The main body of the paper is divided into three chapters.Firstly,based on literary geography,this paper discusses regional culture and spatial aesthetic consciousness,as well as the unique aesthetic implication of "hometown" geographical space,and then analyzes the feasibility of imaging literary geography according to the characteristics of documentary transmission carriers.Secondly,the documentary "The Hometown of Literature" shows the image narrative representation of the geography of "hometown" in the interaction between geographical "scenery" and writers "characters".At the same time,the author analyzes the core expression of the memory of "hometown" in the documentary media in the life connection between the archetype of "relic" and the writer’s "character" which is infiltrated with the "nostalgia" complex.Finally,this paper uses comparative analysis method to analyze the communication strategies of mainstream rural documentaries in the new environment by comparing the communication ideas and effects of the film with several literary documentaries in the same period.
