| Teachers’ professional ability is a series of behavior norms and professional teaching performance that teachers should have in order to achieve the goal and task of education and teaching.The professional ability of middle school teachers mainly includes professional ability and basic ability.According to the professional ability standard of middle school teachers,professional ability mainly includes teaching design ability,teaching implementation ability and so on.In actual teaching,teachers not only need to be responsible for teaching work,but also need to be responsible for other educational activities,class management ability,cooperation ability and communication ability as a whole.Junior high school English teachers’ professional ability is a series of behavior norms and professional teaching performance that junior high school English teachers should have to complete the education and teaching objectives and tasks.Junior high school teachers’ professional ability not only needs to reflect their higher teaching ability and English professional quality,but also needs to reflect their professional ability potential and development level.This paper takes Feixi County of Anhui Province as an example,according to the "professional standards for middle school teachers(Trial)" issued by the Ministry of education,focusing on the dimensions of middle school teachers’ professional ability,from the six basic requirements of teaching design,teaching implementation,class management and educational activities,education and teaching evaluation,communication and cooperation,reflection and development,self-designed questionnaire on the professional ability of rural junior middle school English teachers in Feixi County Questionnaire survey and analysis were carried out on the current situation.Combined with the domestic and foreign high school English teachers’ professional ability,junior high school English teachers’ professional ability development,rural education development and revitalization research related materials,and through careful analysis of the relevant data,and combined with the interview method,this paper conducts individual interviews with some rural junior high school English teachers in Feixi County,to understand their understanding and attitude towards the rural junior high school English teachers’ professional ability,as well as the relationship between them Based on the current situation and problems in the process of improving English professional ability,this paper puts forward four suggestions to improve the professional ability of rural junior middle school English teachers in Feixi from four aspects: carrying out reflective teaching,carrying out cooperative learning,strengthening comprehensive research and forming a joint force atmosphere. |
