Du Weiyun Analysis Method Of Studying The History Of Chinese Historiography Studies

Mr.Du Weiyun has been working in the field of history for decades and has written a wealth of books.He has written a lot of books about this field,such as Historical Studies in China,The Theory of Western Historians Chinese Historiography,The Historical Methodology of Historiography and Historians in The Qing Dynasty,The Ancient Hstorical Comparison of Chinese and Western Historiography in The Changes in The World,Chinese History and World History,Era of Historiography Qing Scholars and Historians,Academic and Shi Bian,Comparative Historical Dilemma,in The History of The Two State etc.In the study of historiography,Mr.Du attaches great importance to the elaboration and practice of the research methods of historiography.On the one hand,he regarded historiography as an academic discipline,and in the process of constructing research methods,he not only inherited and carried forward Chinese traditional historiography(methods),but also criticized and used for reference foreign historiography(methods).On the other hand,Du Weiyun especially made good use of the method of comparative study,both in China and abroad,and even regarded "comparative history" as a new science.Moreover,the study of transfixion is also a very important content in Du Weiyun’s historiography method,which is embodied in his conscious pursuit of "Longitudinal Connection","Horizontal Connection" and "Understand Thoroughly".By systematically combing and analyzing Du Weiyun’s historical writings and judgments,on the one hand,we have formed a relatively complete understanding of Du Weiyun’s historical research methods.On the other hand,it is also helpful to correctly understand and evaluate Du Weiyun and his academic achievements.
