The first part is introduction, which sums up the contemporary research condition of Comparison Historiography,collects local scholars'disquisitions for Du-Weiyun's historiography, pursues Du-Weiyun 's acadernic experience and the outline of this study. The second part is about the practice of Du-Weiyun's Comparison Historiography ,he compared the origins and achievements of Chinese and Western historiography. Moreover,he showed the proper position of the Chinese historiography in the comparison, embodied the similar in the the Chinese and Western historiography. The third part, I pass the fulfillment of Du-Weiyun to sum up the theories and methods of the Comparison Historiography, he put forward the definition of the Comparison Historiography, emphasized the comparison of the historical thoughts .In the comparison methods , he relyed on the instances, carryed on a comparison in the polemic, and merged into an integral whole the research method with the tiny view and the macro view.Finally, pass to carry Du-Weiyun with Peter Burke to discover that Du-Weiyun emphasized what to pay attention to in the total of Chinese and Western historiography, it is similar rather than differences, it depends on the degree of similar points.Just because this, the Chinese and Western historiography then can be mutually communional, Furthermore,we can set up the real world historiography;then the reason of its dissimilitude, we should find from the origins of the Chinese and Western historiography and the dissimilarity of the western culture.
