| The original text of the translation report is Digital Participatory Culture and TV Audience by American scholar Sandra M.Falero,who takes television viewers at Television Without Pity.com as the research object,and explores how critics redefine authorship and audiences in the digital age.This report selects the fourth chapter of the book as the source text in which the author traces the origin and development of copyright and authorship,revealing the truth that those in power in the television industry are trying to defend authorship.The translator believes that this translation project will help people re-examine the meaning and influence of online reviews,and promote good communication between TV program producers and viewers.Guided by the communicative translation theory of British translation theorist Peter Newmark,I analyzes and interprets the difficulties of translation,and summarizes a series of related issues.In view of this,how to convey the information of the original text on the basis of understanding the original text is the focus of this translation report.In order to achieve the communicative effect,this article adopts conversion,inversion,amplification,omission and division to deal with terminologies,proper nouns,attributive clauses and adverbial clauses. |
