The later Tang Dynasty was the Central Plains regime established by the Shatuo people in the Five Dynasties.Shatuo migrated from Ganzhou to Lingzhou in the late Tang Dynasty,and finally reached Hedong area.Li Cunxu established the later Tang Dynasty in923.The later Tang Dynasty had close contact with Khitan and Dangxiang.The neighboring Tubo,Uighur and other ethnic groups also paid tribute to the later Tang Dynasty.This paper uses the research methods of history and ethnology.Relevant information has been collected systematically.This paper studies the origin,internal migration and ethnic identity of the later Tang Dynasty.This paper discusses the relationship between the later Tang Dynasty and Khitan,Dangxiang,as well as its tributary to other neighboring ethnic groups.This paper summarizes the characteristics of ethnic relations in the later Tang Dynasty and its influence on later generations.This paper focuses on the following aspects:The first is to sort out the origin of Shatuo and the internal migration of Shatuo from Ganzhou to Lingzhou and then to Hedong area,and to explore the relevant measures of the later Tang Dynasty as a regime established by foreign people,which was recognized by the Han scholars.Second,it studies the political and military relations between the later Tang Dynasty and Khitan,and between the latter Tang Dynasty and Dangxiang.This paper divides the political and military relations between later Tang Dynasty and Khitan into four periods:Li Keyong,Li Cunxu,Li Siyuan and Li Congke.The political relationship between the later Tang Dynasty and Dangxiang can be divided into three stages: hostile stage,subordinate stage and relatively equal communication stage.Third,it comprehensively combs the tributary economic and trade exchanges between the later Tang Dynasty and Khitan,Dangxiang,Tubo,Uighur,tuhun,Turk,Tatar,heishuipei,Bohai,Xi and other ethnic groups.Through the table statistics of the number of tribute,goods,rewards and so on.The fourth is to summarize the characteristics of the ethnic relations and their influence on politics and economy through the communication between the later Tang Dynasty and the surrounding ethnic groups. |
