| The very fact that Tang poetry is magnificent and colorful indicates the extreme complexity of its genesis. To look at Tang poetry from the perspective of Liangzhou is to examine the influence of a semi-heterogeneous culture on Tang poetry. The heterogeneity of Liangzhou culture is,first of all, that it is basically a nomadic area, which is different from the farming culture in the Central Plains and other main areas of Tang poetry;secondly,as a northwestern border state,Liangzhou borders directly with the Western region and is desolate and faraway, which is both a battlefield for the enemy and a place of exile for criminals. The Tang people were either in the area themselves,as far as the eye could see,or they looked at the wind and thought about it,i.e.,what was in their hearts, which gave a unique color to the poetic realm. The reason for the "semi-heterogeneous" nature of Liangzhou culture is that Liangzhou was largely under the effective control of the imperial court during the Tang Dynasty and was not entirely exotic. As a result,Liangzhou was both familiar and unfamiliar to the Tang people, both as a geographic and psychological cultural symbol, and had a profound influence on Tang poetry in an intertwined way.The first chapter mainly traces the formation of Liangzhou culture and defines its definition.First of all,it traces the historical history of Liangzhou, which is rich in water and grass and has been inhabited by many nomads since ancient times, and has become an important political and military strategic place in China since the establishment of the four counties of Hexi in the Han Dynasty. In the first year of the Tang Dynasty, the whole country was divided into ten provinces, and Liangzhou belonged to the Longye Road.In the second year of Jing Yun of Tang Dynasty,Hexi Road was divided from Long You Road, and Liangzhou belonged to Hexi Road.Secondly, the definition of Liangzhou culture refers to the various spiritual and material cultures that have been formed by the people of all ethnic groups living in Liangzhou since ancient times in the course of long history. After more than two thousand years of accumulation and precipitation,Liangzhou culture is characterized by diversity, inclusiveness and innovation, and is deeply marked by the Chinese culture,Western culture and nomadic culture, showing the characteristics of a "semi-heterogeneous" culture. Finally, the relationship between Liangzhou culture and the poetry of the first Tang dynasty is discussed. The Liangzhou songs of the Han,Wei and Jin dynasties reflect the profound political consciousness of the people of Liangzhou, while the poetry of the Northern and Southern Dynasties initially reveals the regional cultural characteristics of Liangzhou, reflecting the poetic profile of Liangzhou culture in the first Tang dynasty at different levels. The second chapter explores the influence of Liangzhou culture on the material taken from Tang poetry.Firstly, the unique landscape of Liangzhou and its prosperous cities became important subjects in Tang poetry. Finally, the customs and daily life of the Liangzhou region were also written into Tang poems, showing the life and culture of the people of Liangzhou and reflecting the spirit of the people of Liangzhou.Tang poetry not only became the main literary style expressing the culture of Liangzhou and reflecting the broad social reality of the Tang Dynasty, but also greatly expanded and deepened the subject matter of Tang poetry relative to the culture of Liangzhou. The third chapter focuses on the influence of Liangzhou culture on the style of Tang poetry. This chapter builds on the fact that Tang poets presented various aspects of Liangzhou culture, and that Liangzhou as a culturally significant symbol in Tang poetry had a cultural significance far beyond its geographical scope and became a fixed vehicle for poets to express similar certain emotions.First, the impressions of Tang poets on Liangzhou culture are summarized into three aspects: a desolate border city,a war-torn gun city, and a prosperous capital city.Secondly,we explore the rich emotions that the poets of the Tang dynasty had in their impressions of Liangzhou.Inspired by the open and aggressive spirit of the times in the Tang dynasty, most of the poets and scribes had ambitions to build up their careers,so they went to Liangzhou to feel nostalgic for their hometowns in the very different and difficult environment, and to feel patriotic and worried about the people in the face of the national war. Finally, the influence of the change of Liangzhou culture on the style of Tang poetry is explored against the background of the An-shi Rebellion. The martial spirit of Liangzhou culture inspired the ambition of scribes and generals, which became an important factor influencing the majestic and robust poetic style of the Sheng Tang Dynasty. |
