Confusable word is one of the most important types of lexical errors,thus the causes of confusable words are needed to be found.However,previous studies on causes of confusable words were mainly illustrated by examples,and usually based on the contrast of a word of CSL learner’s mother tongue and the counterpart word of the target language,which resulted in that this kind of research is lack of systematization.Thus,how to get rid of the paradigm is the main topic we have to face.Based on a large-scale Chinese interlanguage corpus,this paper first selects and determines which variable words belong to the scope of confusion by Thai Chinese learners,and further analyzes the confusion and distribution characteristics of the words that are easily confused by Thai Chinese learners,and analyzes the change based on statistics.The reasons for the confusion of the complicated and confused word groups,and finally put forward targeted suggestions on teaching and the compilation of dictionary teaching materials.This thesis is mainly composed of four parts as follows:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the origin of the topic selected in this article,the existing research results in related fields,the research methods and significance of this article,etc.The second part is the selection,diagnosis and determination of confusing words for Thai Chinese learners.Based on previous research results and the level of the foreign Chinese vocabulary,this paper selects the changeable words.According to the confusion of the changeable words in the Chinese interlanguage corpus,judges the diagnosis and discrimination and determines the standard of the changeable easily confused words,based on the absolute frequency and The method of combining relative frequency finally identified 15 Thai Chinese learners’ easily confused words.The third part is to analyze the confusion characteristics and distribution characteristics of the change-type easily confused words for Thai Chinese learners.This chapter will analyze the confusion characteristics and distribution characteristics of the 15 changeable confusion words for Thai Chinese learners from the aspects of confusion level,confusion amount,confusion direction,and interword relationship,and construct the distribution of the changeable confusion word group for Thai Chinese learners.In the picture,finally clarify the overall confusion overview of the change-type word group of Thai Chinese learners and the confusion relationship between internal words.The fourth part is to analyze the reasons for the confusion of easily confused words for Chinese learners in Thailand,and put forward targeted teaching suggestions.This article summarizes the reasons for confusion into two aspects: the reasons for the confusion of the mother tongue and the reasons for the confusion of the nonnative language: the reason for the confusion of the mother tongue is mainly due to the misplacement of the Thai words corresponding to the Chinese variant words;the reasons for the confusion of the nonnative language are more complicated and can be divided into language There are seven reasons for the influence of usage,grammar,word collocation,word meaning,target language word analogy,learner strategy and textbook dictionary.Finally,it puts forward specific suggestions from the aspects of teaching and the compilation of dictionary materials.The above is the discussion of the confusing words for Thai Chinese learners.It is hoped that it can provide basis and valuable materials for the compilation of Thai Chinese textbooks and reference books,and provide a useful reference for the analysis of words in Thai Chinese teaching.
