| Misuse of words is a common problem in learning Chinese as a second language.Misuse is an external manifestation.Its root cause is confusion of words.The misused words and proper words are confusable words.The learning of confusable words in the primary stage has a certain degree of particularity.This stage is the construction of the second language vocabulary system.The emphasis on confusing vocabulary teaching helps middle and senior vocabulary learning and avoids petrochemical issues.Based on the requirements of the primary vocabulary outline of the Chinese language,this research investigates and analyzes the misuse of the confusable words in the textbook HANYU JIAOCHENG through the Interlanguage Corpus of the College of Chinese Language and Culture,Jinan University.The mixed errors of confusable words are divided into two categories,namely,rational meaning mixing and color meaning,and seven small ones.It presents different characteristics on confusing distribution,relationship of words,confusing direction and semantic of native language.Based on the classification and characteristic description of mixed errors,the author discusses the causes and finds that language knowledge,teaching factors and learners are the main reasons.Discrimination and teaching of confusable words should start from teachers,students,and teaching materials,focus on explicit analysis and practice in the classroom,advocate “discovery” teaching,and use appropriate strategies for discrimination of students’ proficiency in Chinese,from the "preventive type" gradually to the "treatment type" transition,step by step,and appropriately combined with Chinese culture. |
