With the continuous integration of world economy and culture,outdoor music festival,as a public art form favored by modern young people,has gradually been widely recognized in China,and its cultural value and commercial value have become increasingly significant.Posters,as a visual carrier to promote music festivals,play an important role in the accurate communication of information in the process of cultural output.To Pierce the perspective of semiotics theory in this paper,with the domestic confuses the flute music festival poster as the research object,through reading related books,Pierce principle of semiotics in order and studies about the literature,combined with the present domestic and international of semiotics principle and the research status of the festival,poster design,Pierce is emphatically discussed relationship between theory of semiotics and confuses the flute music festival poster design.In the process of investigation,the author observed that the complete output of the poster fully reflected the process of Peirce’s division of symbolic activities,that is,the output of the symbol went through three steps: representation,reference object and explanation item.Then,the image reflected in the music festival poster is as follows: A poster is a representation,and the information to be transmitted is the reference object.Finally,the audience interprets the poster as the interpreter,and the concept presented in the audience’s mind is the interpretation item.This paper analyzes the influence of Midi Music Festival posters in the design process based on Pierce’s three-part construction theory.In the view of Pierce’s semiotics,symbols can be divided into iconicity symbols,indicative symbols and prescriptive symbols according to their relationship with the referent objects.Based on the above three symbolic theories,this paper summarizes the design methods and symbolic features of the Midi Music Festival posters,and concludes the design criteria needed for poster composition and the accurate expression of colors.In the part of design practice,thinking expansion,mind mapping and other ways are used to explore the modeling methods and combination methods of graphics and text in Midi Music Festival poster design,and based on Pierce’s semiotics theory and practice,the previous theme of Midi Music Festival poster is designed twice,so as to broaden the vision of music festival poster design.Improve the visual expression and information transmission of posters in the process of publicity.
