Study On "Laidian"

“Laidian” was written by Zhang Qixun in Qing Dynasty.Zhang Qixun,courtesy name Lian Xi,also called Erquan Shan Ren.The book consists of four volumes and more than 18000 words.It was completed in the reign of Guangxu,and the existing one is in the National Library of China.This paper is mainly based on the copy version to study.This book collects a large number of ancient Chinese onomatopoeia,had been mentioned by Geng Erling professor in academic thesis.Although no one has studied it yet,its value has been affirmed.“Laidian” is similar to an early onomatopoeia dictionary,which mainly includes the onomatopoeia in ancient literature.Because of its rich vocabulary and numerous documents,it actually provides us with a large number of reference materials.This paper takes “Laidian” as the research object,and the text is divided into six parts.The first part of the introduction mainly clarifies the background and significance of the research on onomatopoeia,summarizes the research status of onomatopoeia,particularly in the research on special books,and points out the lack of research on onomatopoeia dictionary,so study this book,On the one hand,it enriches the research on ancient Chinese Onomatopoeia special books,On the other hand,it provides a basis for the study of modern Chinese onomatopoeia.The second part introduces the content of the whole book in detail,including “preface of Laidian” and its continuation,“arrangement style of Laidian”,and “general items of Laidian”.It also rearranges the key contents of “general items of Laidian” in the book,and completes the name of Dynasty works which are missing in the original text,so as to pave the way for the follow-up research.The third part discusses the basis of classification and collection of words in “Laidian”,and makes statistics and Analysis on the structural forms and sources of the onomatopoeia,and sums up the scope and characteristics of the onomatopoeia in “Laidian”.The fourth part starts from the study of the word ontology in “Laidian”,analyzes the word structure and its characteristics of the times,to get the law of development.The fifth part compares the onomatopoeia in the book with those in other special books from the perspective of monosyllabic,disyllabic and polysyllabic,and analyzes the characteristics of the words in “Laidian”.The sixth part summarizes the main content of the paper.The innovation of this paper lies in: it is the first time to investigate the early collection of onomatopoeia special book “Laidian”,and to discuss and study the onomatopoeia in detail from the content and source.In the process of discussion,we try to make a comparative analysis with relevant research results,such as Shuowen Jiezi and modern Chinese Onomatopoeia research which is a systematic study of onomatopoeia.Through the detailed statistics and classification of the words in“Laidian”,we further investigate the diachronic and synchronic features of onomatopoeia.
